Guide to Elements

In the world of naruto, and more specifically Naruto revolution, there are five primary elements. If you are familiar with the laws of Naruto, you will already know that they are ‘Lightning, Earth, Water, Fire and Wind’. Here is a brief explanation of each of them.

Lightning- The first thing that comes to mind is ‘electricity’. In the most basic forms, Lightning can be used to harness the destructive power of electricity. However, there are more subtle ways of manipulation that can have many more interesting qualities. Neurological and electromagnetic abilities can also be controlled with more focused electrical bursts. Another aspect of the lightning element is polarity, and the electrical properties are necessary in many chemical reactions. Again, in it’s most basic forms, lightning is considered strong against earth, and weak against wind.

Earth- The earth element is known for its ability to manipulate well… earth. Of the elements it is probably the most straight forward, however being the most physically bound. Density, size and other physical traits of objects and substance are best manipulated with the earth element. Creation of matter and most organic material will most require the properties of the Earth element. Other forms of ‘earth’ include dust, sand, stone, clay, dirt, and other minerals. Weak against lightning, while strong against water.

Water- Water is known for control and manipulation of most liquids, not just H2O. Such moisture is not only found in beds or bodies of water but can also gathered from the moisture in the air or in the ground. Water is also a main solvent in many chemical reactive compounds and found in most if not all living things. The water element is also a key to any form of weather manipulation. Most any substances that are a majority water can be manipulated with it, however other forms of water manipulation include mist or mud compounds. Weak to earth and strong against fire.

Fire- Fire is what is considered the most chaotic and destructive of the elements. Because of not only its beauty but its power it is considered one of the most popular of elements in the naruto community. In most cases, it is only seen in it’s pure, firey projectile form, and variations there of. However, more focuses and control fire can be agents of friction, heat( and by heat I mean energy) and ultimately temperature control. Fire is also a chief component in chemical reactions that require certain temperatures, or melting/boiling points. But who am I trying to kid, you just wanna shoot fire out of your mouth right!? Weak to fire and strong against wind.

Wind- The element of Naruto himself, wind is in it’s most basic form in control of the force of nature wind itself. Wind being the movement of air bound particles via fluctuations in pressure, the wind element has potential to monitor and control pressure, particle movement such as vibrations and more commonly, sound. It is also known for it’s ability to cut and pierce. One feature of the wind element is its ability to specifically shape objects and substances. Without the wind element, full control of the advanced elements such as ice or sand are impossible because of this. Weak against Fire, Strong against Lightning.

Though the basic elements have plenty of potential and power of their own, sometimes you need a touch that not just one element can handle or is handled more specifically by two properties of separate elements. In this case, what you may be wanting is a ‘Advanced Element’.

Advanced Elements

Advanced Elements are elements that involve the traits or properties of two elements. Here on Naruto Revolution, any idea for an Advanced Element must be submitted via Kekkei Genkai of the Clan section of their you character app of your clan App. To make your advanced element as legit as possible, explain in the Kekkei Genkai section how the two elements come together to form the third element.

Examples form existing Advanced Elements:

Water + Wind = Ice

Water provides the control of the medium while Wind provides the shaping properties, thus water and wind allow for the condensing and shaping of the water medium into Ice.
Water + Earth = Wood

The Physical properties earth are combined with the life giving properties of water to create both the physical and reactionary properties need to manipulate Wood.
In most cases, if as long as you are logical and reasonable, you should have no problem with this part.
An Advanced Element is considered Independent of it’s two counter parts. If you have the ability to control Ice, that doesn’t necessarily give you power over it’s Wind and Water counter parts. Remember to check the clan’s list in the Clan Creation section to make sure that your specific idea hasn’t been done before. You have free range to create your own KKG Advanced elements, however remember that any and all Advance Elements must be approved by the Admin to make sure they are in line with the limitations and vision of the site.
