Biography:

As a Genin

Katsu was always held in high expectations, being an Uchiha. He'd never fail to meet those expectations, if not exceed them. Graduating from the Academy was simple, he graduated at the top of his class at the age of 9. Becoming a Genin, Katsu was teamed with two other newly made Genin. Both of which just barely made it out of the Academy, and from the jump Katsu's enthusiasm disappeared. The team was constantly training under their Sensei, Daigo Zakimaru, and Katsu was constantly having to save the team. Which in turn slowly began building a steady aggrivation with his team members.

After their first few missions, to most everyones suprise, one of Katsu's team members actually saved him for once. From that moment on, dispite Katsu's views on his team mate, their was a growing fondness of eachother. It grew with each mission, with each training session, and eventually with each coming day. During a mission regarding an escaped prisoner, Katsu was forced into a life or death situation which not only drew out his Sharingan but it was already at it's second stage having 2 tomoe. All in all, Katsu has went on countless D-Ranked missions and numerous C-Ranked missions as a Genin.

Passing the Chuunin Exams

The team breezed through the 'written' exam, it was a simple task. In the Forest of Death, however, the team rand into a few speed bumps when it came to finding the corrisponding scroll. It seemed the Chuunin exams were filled with very skilled ninja this time around. But, it was nothing the team couldn't handle. After finding a team with the needed scroll, Katsu and his team went into action, although it took longer than anticipated, the squad defeated their foe and acquired the scroll. Upon making their way to the tower, they discovered they were amongst the first teams to pass the trial. Part two was complete.

Becoming a Chuunin

The final and most anticipated portion of the Chuunin exams has finally come, the tournament. Katsu would wait, watching match after match awaiting his own. He'd see many of his fellow ninja fall, and many prevail, but all fell in comparison to the eagerness Katsu had for his own match. Although his features would only portray a sense of calm, his anxiousness bubbled on the verge of bursting. Finally, it was his time. Katsu's name was called, being matched up against a fairly worthy opponent, a member of the Inuzuka clan.

It is in Katsu's nature to first feel out his opposition, rather than running in without a clue of what the target can do. So, the first few minutes of close quarters combat ended with a Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu which was evaded quite easily. The battle raged on with an exchange of blows ranging from close quarters to jutsu. To Katsu' suprise he was actually being put to the test and was forced to bring forth his Sharingan. Although he was dead set on being capable of taking down this foe with a bit more ease, no matter. A few short moments after activating his Sharingan, Katsu countered every following assault from the opponent. Thus, eventually bringing victory to himself. After making his way from the field, Katsu over heard a spectator utter a few words that caused mixed emotions within him. "He resembles that Missing ninja, you know Uchiha Itachi. From what I know, he looks a lot like him but fights as well as his brother Sasuke did."

A Bit of Research

Katsu felt obligated to research his clan's history, along with this ninja named Uchiha Sasuke. Katsu was cleared to look through the archives within Konoha, through ONLY Uchiha Sasuke's file and reports involving him after his defection. Katsu's eyes were opening, and for the first time he was interested. He read of the missions Sasuke was on and the techniques he used when he leaft Konoha. It was all so interesting that Katsu actually began learning these techniques, but not after the nerve shaking test to see what affinity he had as a recesive one. After finding out that it was in fact Raiton he had as a recessive affinity, it was set. Although, Katsu always wondered why he was not allowed to view anything else about the Uchiha Clan, nor was he given a shred of information about Sasuke before he was a Genin.

Returning home, Katsu disscussed a few things with his parents about what he had researched. Both of which looked a little concerned and hesitant in telling Katsu the history of the Uchiha clan. So, they saved it until they figured he was ready. The only scrap of informtion they gave Katsu, was that he was a decendant of Uchiha Sasuke and ofcourse his brother Itachi. A bit of excitement painted Katsu's face upon hearing this news. It pushed him to train harder to surpass his ancestor.

Truth Strikes as Hard as Lightning

A normal night at home would soon become one of pain and anger. Katsu's parents felt it was time to tell him about the grim past of the Uchiha Clan and of his ancestors. They told him how Itachi killed off almost all of the clan, save for his little brother Sasuke. They went on to tell him of Madara Uchiha and how Sasuke fled the leaf village becoming a missing-nin. They told him how Sasuke killed his brother Itachi and even told him the way to the old Uchiha Clan section of the town, knowing he would stumble upon the secret room holding the secret of the clan and the fabled Mangekyou Sharingan. Katsu left after having his eyes open to the truth of his bloodline. He made his way to the old Uchiha Clan hold, abandoned and falling apart. As his parents presumed, he found his way to the secret room.

Rising to Power, Becoming a Jounin

After having his eyes opened to the truth of the Uchiha name, Katsu's entire persona changed. He became more and more cold and strict with rules and distraught. Katsu simply focused on climbing the ranks, making his own way. But something lingered in his mind about his ancestor, as to why he didn't return to the village after his initial goal was reached, killing Itachi. Something was off about it. None the less, Katsu continued his already impressive track record when it came to completing missions.

Eventually, Katsu was offered the position of Jounin at the age of 16. He went through the Inaguration and took on the rank of Jounin of Konoha. Although he was a Jounin, Katsu has yet to be given a squad. Katsu, having long since mastered his Sharingan, felt he would not be able to continue up the latter of power, until he remembered the stories about the Mangekyou Sharingan, and how to acquire such an eye. Although, he could not really think of any person being close enough to him to be called a best friend. Then, Katsu remembered the only person he got close to, the other boy from his former Genin squad.

Stigma

Katsu became known as, Stigma. He acquired this nickname through successful missions, and a few points in time where his targets would actually look as if killed by a poison when it was an effect of a Genjutsu created by Katsu's Sharingan. Not only that, but on a few occasions a black flame would be left after he'd been there, spreading like a Stigma. Although this was a sign of the Mangekyou, it raised suspicions about Katsu and the dissapearance of his friend, Yojiro. But, ANBU could not find a single trace of evidence that Katsu killed Yoji. From then on, Katsu was known as the Stigma of the Hidden Leaf.

A Hero, In the Eyes of the Public

Katsu was summoned to take on the mission of guarding the Kage as a few shinobi escort a few politics from another, lesser, village. It was going smooth until Konoha ninja took the place of the visiting shinobi in escorting the politics around Konoha. For a split second, the attention was taken off of the other ninja, giving them enough time to put their true plans in action. The small 4 man cell of A-ranked ninja made their way through the village to the Kage Mansion. They barged through the door, only to find Katsu standing infront of the Kage's desk. Although the Kage was capable of taking care of himself, it was Katsu's duty to protect the Kage with his life. So he did, opening his eyes to reveal the famed Sharingan Eye he managed to kill off two and mentally destroy a third. The fourth escaped, only for the fact that the ANBU finally arrived and would shortly catch up to him. "A bit late.." Katsu said with disgust as the few ANBU members made haste in following the assailant.

Katsu was complimented on his astounding skill in combat by the Hokage, thanked and given another order to take the mentally scarred ninja to the interogation unit. As Katsu was dismissed, he made his way to the interrogation unit. The captive never made it to the interrogation unit, and Katsu was never seen on the grounds again.

Description:
Stigma is a toned young man, blessed with an athletic physique. Standing at 5'11", Ryuu carries all the dominant traits of an Uchiha male, black hair, slightly pale complexion and oddly, a Sharingan that remains active nearly 24-7. This Uchiha is usually garbed in the standard ANBU attire, with a few alterations. And ebony cascade of hair tends to veil the crimson orbs embbeded within his youthful visage.

Personality:

Ryuu does his best to hide the distress within him from other around him, usually using a smile as a fecade. It's a bit of a change in persona, being that offering nothing but coldheartedness to his team mates would only hinder the perfomance of the team as a whole. However harsh when it comes to assignments, Ryuu does what is needed to keep his team mates alive. When in combat, Ryuu is focused on completing the mission to the fullest.

On a more casual note, Ryuu is not the talkative type. He is usually caught in deep thought when others around him are in conversation, however he seems to keep up with the conversation. When his thoughts are broken and draged into a conversation by surprise, he usually offers a warm smile and offers his opinion. Ryuu is an odd blend of anti-social and very social, being that he does take time between missions and training to take it down and relax with friends however not much is said during his time out. It's a bit obvious from the outside that there is more to this kid than what you can see.

Uchiha Clan

The Uchiha clan were one of the founding noble families of Leaf village. The clan itself is said to be descended from the Hyuuga clan who possess the bloodline of the Byakugan eye. Because their clan possessed the Sharingan or "Wheel Eye," the Uchiha excelled at being able to read and fend off attackers. This made them prime candidates to help found the Konoha Military Police Corps. The organization itself would go on to incorporate the Uchiha fan symbol into their official logo.

Select few members of the Uchiha clan possess the ability to activate the bloodline Sharingan eye. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and see the tricks and movements required to be able to complete it. However the clan member can not copy techniques which are unique to another bloodline. It also gives one the ability to cast jutsu techniques only possible by possessing the eye.

The clan itself is known for their ties to fire. For a clan ninja to be seen as an adult, they must be able to utilize a Katon (Fire Element) jutsu such as Goukakyuu no Jutsu. Thus is the tie between the manipulation of fire and the mind of an Uchiha member.

Sharingan

The Sharingan, unlike the Byakugan, is not automatically activated in the user by birth. It is only first unlocked under some stressful or emotional condition after which the Sharingan may be used freely. When the Sharingan is first activated by a user, it has a different number of tomoe (巴) around the central pupil, varying between users. The wielder of the Sharingan, through continued use and training, evolves it further which involves gaining more tomoe, up to a maximum of three per eye. As the Sharingan evolves, the user gains heightened abilities. The only level up from the three tomoe Sharingan is the Mangekyō Sharingan, which is gained by the emotional stress stemming from the loss of someone close to the user.

The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the chakra flow. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.

The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements[3] or mimic something like pencil movements.[4] As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe seals, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react.

The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to memorize any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other Kekkei Genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as his own, or even modify them to create his own new techniques, much like Sasuke Uchiha's Lion Combo. In order to reproduce a copied jutsu, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. A prime example is Rock Lee's brand of taijutsu. While Sasuke was able to copy some of Lee's moves, they put a much more significant strain on him since he hasn't trained nearly as much as Lee has. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce jutsu dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with.

The Sharingan's final commonly-used ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through simple eye contact. When used against animals, the eyes of the target take on the pattern of the users Sharingan while under its influence. When used in conjunction with the other aspects of the Sharingan, this allows the user to perfectly mimic every move their opponents make even before they do, making it appear as if the user can "see the future". More advanced Sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability even further by tricking or even trapping their opponent within an illusion. The potency of the Sharingan's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill with implementing genjutsu.

Mangekyou Sharingan

The Mangekyou Sharingan is a legendary doujutsu ability which has only emerged in a few clan members in its history. There is still mystery surrounding the eye and the Uchiha clan itself. Each user develops their own unique looking Mangekyou. The requirements for gaining the Mangekyou are very controversial in nature. After Uchiha Itachi murdered his best friend Shisui he gained Mangekyou. He told his younger brother Sasuke that to gain the Mangekyou, he too would have to kill his closest friend. Itachi told Sasuke that a scroll in their clan shrine revealed the true original purpose of the clan doujutsu. This scroll and Itachi himself revealed that the former leader of their clan, Uchiha Madara and his younger brother Izuna were the first to obtain Mangekyou. Madara himself did this by killing his friend, it's assumed Izuna also killed a close comrade.

Usage of the Mangekyou techniques drains quite a bit of a user’s chakra, more so than any other normal technique. Also as a result of Mangekyou usage, the bearer will slowly lose their vision. Madara lost his vision before his brother and sought to regain his power. To do so he removed Izuna's eyes and made them his own. With these new eyes, his Mangekyou took on a combined appearance of his original Mangekyou and Izuna's. These "Eternal" Mangekyou eyes returned his vision and gave him unbelievable strength. With this strength it was said Madara used Sharingan's normal ability to supress the Kyuubi and tame it.

RP Sample:

It was a rather gloomy day, a very slow one as well. Darkened clouds hovered over Konoha, shrouding the entire village with morbidity. The streets seemed vacant, save for the lone Shinobi trekking through the empty streets. Soulless eyes lifted sights upon the darkening sky as the crackle of thunder echoed in the distance. "A storm comes." Katsu thought to himself, continuing on his way to the open training fields. As the crackling became louder, until it was apparent the storm was above him, Katsu drew the hood of his large cloak to shield him from soon-to-come rain. He entered the training grounds, picking the most open spot to position himself.

Katsu began building chakra, molding it to form what seemed to be Chidori in his palm. The clouds began to weep as the chakra began to arc around Katsu's hand. With a swift swing of his arm, Katsu formed the lightning chakra into countless senbon that hurled forward like a swarm, evaporating each drop of rain on contact. The numbers were so great, and his accuracy was so perfect that the senbon actually stopped every drop of rain in their path from hitting the ground, making it seems as if he had stopped the rain for a moment. Katsu would spend hours on the field, training for his mission the following day, making sure he didn't over due it.

(The next morning.)

Katsu awoke early in the morning to make sure preparations for the mission were correct as well as gathering the needed tools. Once everything was accounted for, Katsu left his apartment and made haste to the Kage Mansion. Katsu was the type to either be early or on time when it came to a briefing. The sun itself was still getting comfortable in the sky when Katsu arrived at the Hokage's office door, it would seem he arrived even before the Kage himself made it to the office. But, he'd only be waiting a few minutes before the Kage and another Jounin arrived. "A bit early, Katsu." The kage stated, not at all displeased at the man's punctuality.

"Lord Hokage, I'd prefer to do this mission alone, if it isn't too much to ask." Katsu was always fond of going on missions alone. He felt that if two were not needed, then either of the shinobi could become a hindrance to the other and the mission in general.

"I have no intensions of sending, Haru here along with you, Katsu. I know you are more than capable of completing this task to the fullest. Besides, you haven't failed a mission so yet, if my memory serves me well." The Kage spoke in such high regards of Katsu before briefing him about the mission. Katsu was to make his way to the Hidden Stone Village and aid the village in an investigation about a local Organization that has began to spread and threaten those of the Hidden Stone as well as have ideals of expanding their reach to other villages. The Org. seemed to have been around for quite some time under the radar, and has finally grown to a size where they pose a threat. Katsu agreed to the mission objective, investigate and eliminate if possible. The Uchiha quickly embarked on the journey ahead, making little to no stops.

After a day of constant travel, Katsu arrived at the Stone Village outskirts. As the Hokage stated, Katsu was greeted by a small three man cell outside the village walls. These were the men he would aid in the investigation, and judging by the shallow extent of the group, Katsu would be here for quite some time. After their very short greeting, the three escorted Katsu into town through an underground tunnel to make sure none of the undercover members would see his entrance. The tunnel seemed to stretch on for a while and one of the three men explained how the tunnel stretched halfway through the village to a secret building that was seemingly shut down.

The cell finally made it to the building and exited the tunnel. "So, from your knowledge, how many members do you think they have supporting them?" Katsu asked, beginning an 'interview' so to say in order to gain any bit of knowledge before taking the needed steps to take them down.

"Well, we know its well over 60 men. But, what we've seen is that most of them were forced in joining. Taken away from their homes and forced to become members. Also, there are two heads to this organization. Oni and Ryuu were brothers who formed the group years ago. These two are both A-Ranked ninja of the Hidden Stone." One of the investigators informed. With that, Katsu spent the next few days living amongst the Hidden Stone and did what he could to acquire more knowledge on the group. So far, Katsu found out where exactly the group held meetings and things of that nature.

It was time to make a move before they did, Katsu returned to the hideout a week after arriving in the village only to find that his support team was slaughtered and by the looks of it, it was a few days since. Now being at an even bigger disadvantage, Katsu had to formulate a plan on how to take down the two heads and free those who were bound to the group by fear. After a few moments, Katsu came up with a plan that would bring him close enough to take them down. Katsu stashed away his Konoha headband in the hideout and took the Stone Jounin uniform off of one of the dead bodies and used a jutsu to disguise himself as a Stone ninja.

Katsu, now disguised from every eye that could see, would make his way to the known hideout of the group. Two ninja stood watch outside of the door, and Katsu could sense the presence of two additional ninja hidden behind jutsu. His disguise actually brought him close enough to speak with the two doormen in relation to joining their cause. After a few brief words and a request to speak with Oni and Ryuu, Katsu was granted access into the building. "Too easy.." He thought to himself as he was escorted by another person down a long hall. As they made their way down the hall, the low echo of chatter became more apparent as the two came to a doorway. Once making his presence know, the chatter quickly stopped and all eyes seemed to roast Katsu.

"Have a seat, my friend." Ryuu offered, seated across a long table with who Katsu assumed to be, Oni standing next to him. "What brings you to this place?" Ryuu asked. A smirk forever present upon his face as Katsu took an open seat directly across from him.

"I heard of this groups rising, and it caught my interest. Seeing as how, even knowing of your existence, the Village hasn't done a thing about must mean you and your group are some what of a power, no?" Katsu stated. "Besides, I have information about the Leaf Village that might spark an interest." The Uchiha smirked behind his disguise.

"Is that so? Well, I guess it's our lucky day, Oni my brother. It seems we've been gifted with information that will make it that much easier to infiltrate Konoha." He'd chuckle, raising his hand. "Every, leave us. We have business to discuss." As everyone left the room, Katsu became a bit more serious seeing as how this was his only time to strike. The three began to talk, Katsu spilling false information in order to gain their trust. That would be an easy task given his disguise.

"So, that's the way to make it into the village without having to go through the gates. How interesting." Ryuu pondered over the information Katsu fed him, index and thumb rubbing his chin. "I think your assistance was much appreciated, but I'm sorry you can't be trusted with the location of our little home here. Oni, you know what to do." Ryuu gave to order to have Katsu killed, which was a surprise, he thought telling them this information would gain their trust. It would seem that they're a little more ruthless than presumed.

Oni stepped forward, gripping Katsu by the collar and dragged him out of the room. Now, Oni was a large man capable of carrying a person out with a single arm. Katsu was more than capable of stopping this, but for the missions sake he had to seperate the brothers. It wasn't until the door closed behind them until screams seemed to vibrate the door. Ryuu's face drenched in concern and just before he could call out to his brother, a thud would push the words back into his mouth. He would rise and approach the door, and as he did a beam pierced the door and his shoulder pushing him back a few meters. The beam slowly turned inside of Ryuu's shoulder until flat. Just then, the door opened, being sliced by the beam as it did.

"A fatal mistake underestimating can be, don't you think?" Katsu asked, standing in the doorway, eyes closed and arm held out front. On the floor behind him lay the corpses of Oni and the two guarding the door. All of whose faces were frozen in horror of their last few moments of life as it was stripped. Katsu walked forward, pushing the beam through the other side of Ryuu's shoulder. His lips curled into a smirk as his eye lids slowly began to part and as they did they revealed Katsu's Mangekyou Sharingan. At that moment, the jutsu that disguised him was let down to reveal Katsu himself.

"An....U-Uchiha? No, I won't let it end here!" Ryuu shouted, pulling two kunai from a pouch with one hand. Rather swiftly, he threw them at Katsu but they were deflected with the utmost ease. "I won't let all I've worked for simply be thrown in the trash!" Ryuu, despite the surge of electricity coursing through his body, rose to his feet.

Katsu, being the one always looking for a challenge, actually retracted the beam from Ryuu's shoulder, in a means of fighting him on equal playing fields. "I haven't met a person able to resist my jutsu before...Perhaps a proper fight is in order." Katsu suggest, placing his right hand upon the hilt of his blade. "Don't make me regret giving you this opportunity.." The Uchiha muttered as Ryuu drew two more kunai and rushed toward Katsu. With a slight bend of the knees, and a spreading of his feet, Katsu positioned himself in his fighting stance. Katsu's eyes locked onto the target as he approached, counting the steps until close enough. Katsu dashed forward, his speed was incredible, drawing the sword from its scabbard he swung it chest height. The opponent simply held both kunai parallel to each other to defend the attack. But the forward momentum of Katsu and the force behind the swing pushed Ryuu back. It was then that they began exchanging blow for blow, Katana clashed with the two kunai as the blows became faster and faster. "How can he be keeping up with me, and defend my blade with just kunai." He thought. Katsu would have to step things up, and stop fighting at his level.

"Enough playing around." Katsu said as his blade was enveloped in arcing electricity during their series of blows. Katsu's final swing would seal the deal, slicing through both kunai with minute effort. This made contact with Ryuu inevitable, the blade passed through Ryuu's chest as easy as it did the kunai. A low grunt crawled out of Ryuu's mouth, and in the same motion Katsu sheathed the blade. "This battle was decided before it began. Be grateful, I've blessed you with the opportunity of seeing your brother again. Now, dance in the fires of hell." His words harbored such morbidity and infested Ryuu's mind in his last moments as he fell to his knees, blood dripping from the corners of his mouth. Spoken words of such heartlessness could only be followed but with something equal. Katsu manifested the black flames of Amaterasu, engulfing the body of Ryuu as he hit the floor and began to spread, burning the entire place to the ground.

(Returning Home.)

Katsu returned to Konoha, making his way to the Kage's Mansion to report the results of the mission. "Kage-Sama, the mission was more than a success. The two leaders of the Org. were dealt with, and the forced members were allowed their freedom to return to their village."

"As I expected from you, Katsu. Good work, now rest and you will be notified when your next mission will be." The Kage said, finishing up some paper work in reference to the Stone Village mission.

With a slight bow, Katsu exited the office and began home. He'd rest for a few hours before heading out again, back to the open training fields..
